Amazon Alexa+ Can Work with Prime Video and Fire Tv to 'Jump to a Scene' In a Movie
As part of the new Alexa+ experience Amazon introduced on Wednesday, the smart assistant will gain the ability to navigate through movies on Prime Video on your behalf. Thanks to integrations between Alexa, Prime Video, and Fire TV, Alexa+, as the upgraded assistant is called, will be able to “jump to a scene” in a movie without you needing to fast-forward through the video. The company demonstrated the new feature at a press event in New York, where Alexa+ was asked a question about a movie where Bradley Cooper sang a song.
- This innovative feature highlights Amazon's continued efforts to enhance user experience and seamless integration across its various devices and services, potentially setting a new standard for smart home assistants.
- How will this level of voice-controlled navigation impact the way people consume movies and TV shows in their homes, and what implications might it have for traditional remote control usage?
