Tk101 Falls Short Despite Premium Feel
The Gamakey TK101 offers a lot considering its price tag, but my testing found it still lacks the Heavy going with a humble price tag. The keyboard's premium construction and hardware are admirable, but the heavy tactile switches and lack of wrist support are significant drawbacks. The inability to customize it via software is also a shame.
- The TK101's success highlights the importance of balancing form and function in mechanical keyboards, where premium materials can be used to offset compromises in design.
- Will future updates address the weight issue with the switches, or will the TK101 remain a compromise between price and performance?
